Education Systems Strengthening

Education systems shape opportunity, equity, and long-term national development. We support education reforms through sector analysis, early childhood development systems strengthening, and youth skills and participation programmes that improve inclusion, learning, and opportunity.

Our work in education is grounded in the understanding that meaningful reform requires more than isolated interventions. It requires attention to institutions, policy, equity, implementation capacity, and the lived realities of learners, teachers, and communities. We support partners to design and strengthen education initiatives that are responsive to context and focused on lasting improvement.

We are particularly interested in the intersection of education, systems strengthening, youth participation, and inclusive development. Our support helps institutions better understand barriers, design responsive interventions, and strengthen delivery across the education sector.

What we do

We provide support in areas including:

  • Education sector analysis and policy review
  • Early childhood development systems strengthening
  • Youth skills, employability, and participation programming
  • Inclusive education and access analysis
  • Education research and evidence generation
  • Programme design for learning and participation outcomes
  • Stakeholder engagement and institutional mapping
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning for education programmes
  • Policy support on education governance and reform
  • Community and systems-based approaches to education improvement

How we work

We combine sector knowledge, research, and programme design support to help institutions address complex education challenges with practical and evidence-informed responses. We work across policy, programme, and community levels to strengthen both design and implementation.

Why it matters

Education reform is central to social inclusion, economic opportunity, and national progress. We help partners strengthen education systems in ways that are more equitable, context-aware, and capable of delivering better outcomes for children and young people.
